Dr. Eric Garcia received his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and did his Internship at the Hospital Universitario, Rio Piedras. P.R. Throughout his medical career Dr. Garcia has held various leadership positions such as; the Chief of the Surgery Department, Chief of Staff, Medical Director of the Fort Duncan Hyperbaric Center and Secretary/Treasures of the Medical Staff. Today Dr. Garcia continues to be a active staff member specializing in General Surgery. Dr. Garcia believes in treating his patients very professionally but at the same time being warm and attentive.
In His Words
Good communication between a physician and patient makes the process more personal as well as educational about a patients condition. I think that the Internet is an open bank of information, if patients are educated they will be able to make better decisions and will know what to expect from their surgery or their treatment.
